Travel of Statue of Liberty, USA

The Statue of Liberty, a symbol of freedom and democracy, is a colossal neoclassical sculpture located on Liberty Island in New York Harbor, USA. In 2003, the statue underwent extensive renovations to address structural issues and enhance its accessibility. However, it remained in its original location on Liberty Island throughout the year.

In 2009, the Statue of Liberty's crown was reopened to visitors after being closed for security upgrades following the 9/11 attacks. This allowed tourists to once again enjoy panoramic views of New York City from the crown's observation deck.

In 2011, the statue celebrated its 125th anniversary, and numerous events and ceremonies were held to honor this iconic symbol's enduring significance.

In 2018, the Statue of Liberty Museum was opened on Liberty Island, providing visitors with an immersive experience, historical exhibits, and interactive displays about the statue's history and construction.

Throughout the years, the Statue of Liberty has remained a beloved and cherished landmark, attracting millions of visitors from around the world who come to admire its grandeur and to pay homage to the principles of liberty and democracy it represents. Its enduring presence serves as a beacon of hope and inspiration for generations to come.
